Career: Alita Alytus (Lithuania-LKL, 1996-99), Ural-Great Perm (Russia-Superleague, 2002-04), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2004-05, loaned by the CSKA Moscow), Unics Kazan (Russia-Superleague, 2005-07), Montepaschi Siena (Italy-Lega, 2007-08).
The 2.10 cm Lavrinovic moved to Montepaschi Siena in Italy’s Lega A for the 2007-8 campaign because of the chance to play in the Euroleague for the first time in his career and he proved to be a big hit. Lavrinovic, who is able to play at center and both forward positions, averaged nearly 13 points and four rebounds per game as Montepaschi reached the Euroleague Final Four in Madrid. He was named to All-Euroleague Second Team for the regular season and once at the Final Four, he averaged a team best 18 points to help the team finish third. Lavrinovic, whose twin brother Darjus also plays for Lithuania, hasn’t missed any international competitions since 2003 when he helped his country capture gold at the EuroBasket in Sweden.
