Career: Colorado State (USA-NCAA, 1995-99), New York Liberty (USA-WNBA, 1999-2006), Rovereto (Italy-A1, 2001-02), Tennessee Fury (USA-NWBL, 2003), Colorado Chill (USA-NWBL, 2004-06), Rivas Futura (Esp-LFB, 2006-07), San Antonio Silver Stars (USA-WNBA, 2007), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2007-08).

The point guard position has always been a concern for the Russia National Team, which is why Hammon was such an appealing option to have after she became a naturalized citizen of the country earlier this year. Hammon was a late-bloomer in America and was never in serious contention for a place in the USA squad. Hammon is an explosivve scorer, especially on the perimeter. She averaged 12.9 points per game in the EuroLeague Women this season while also dishing out 2.9 assists. Hammon averaged four assists in the Russian Superleague.
