Career: Chevakata Vologda (Russia-Superleague, 1998-2003), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2003-04), Chevakata Vologda (Russia-Superleague, 2004-07), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2007-08).
The Vologda native is first of all a scorer who has never seen a shot she doesn’t like. In her last three years with Chevataka Vologda, she averaged more than 10 points per game in the EuroCup. Last summer, she moved to CSKA Moscow and saw her role reduced, but remains a reliable option for the Russia National Team. She helped Russia capture the gold medal at EuroBasket 2007. It was special for her as her father, Boris Sokolovski, served as an assistant coach on Igor Grudin’s staff. This season, “Sokol” (which means “the falcon”) averaged 3.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in the EuroLeague Women for CSKA Moscow.
