The former star of the Brazilian league has celebrated four different European championships in the last four years. Adrianinha has, quite simply, left her mark everywhere she has been. A prolific scorer in the Italian League with Faenza, she left in December 2005 because of imminent motherhood. She made her return in the Russian Superleague Women (16.2 pts with Kazan), then in France, and finally in Croatia. An excellent three-point shooter, she also played 43 games in the WNBA with the Phoenix Mercury. With the National Team, she's already participated in two FIBA World Championships and two Olympics as a back-up to Helen Luz. Now that Helen has retired, the veteran point guard should be in the starting line-up for Brazil.
