Career: Alita Alytus (Lithuania-LKL, 1996-99), Ural Great Perm (Russia-Superleague, 2002-04), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2004-05, loaned by the CSKA Moscow), Unics Kazan (Russia-Superleague, 2005-06).
Four years back in the basketball world, Ksystof Lavrinovic continues to improve with Russian team Unics Kazan. He probably would need a spot on a Euroleague team to show what he's really worth. Dangerous from the three-point line, he's an athletic and strong forward who causes damage in the paint. The kind the NBA would have loved, but two years after coming close to an agreement with the Toronto Raptors, his time has probably passed. At 25, he still has a lot to bring to the Lithuanian national team. Year after year, his role is increasing on Antanas Sireika's squad.
To be able to play a major role for Lithuania, he needs to be a little more involved in rebounding situations, like he was at last year's EuroBasket. His incredible talent cannot be enough at this point without a strong desire to be the best.
