Career: Alita Alytus (Lithuania-LKL, 1996-2000 and 2002-03), Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania-LKL, 2003-06).

Always considered less talented than his brother Ksystof, Darjus Lavrinovic has blown by him this season, as he blossomed with Zalgiris. The athletic forward probably needed a couple of seasons at Kaunas to adapt before breaking out. The "other brother" became a rebounding monster this year, claiming the crown in both the LKL and Baltic League (9.8 rbds a game in each competition). He could have gone for the triple-crown with a Euroleague trophy, but Tanoka Beard's comeback from injury stopped him short in his quest as he had to share the paint with a highly talented neighbor.

His scoring was also way up, as he became almost unstoppable on several occasions with his combination of quickness, size and shooting touch. Ready or not, here comes Darjus, able to take over Lithuania's inside game.
