Career: Metro State (USA-NCAA Div. 2, 2002-03), Sandringham (Australia-ABA, 2003), Sydney Kings (Australia-NBL, 2003-06), Sydney City Comets (Australia-ABA, 2004-06).
David Barlow spent one year at the Metropolitan State University in the NCAA second division after being recruited by Mike Dunlap, a former NBL coach. He came back to Australia in 2003 and made great debuts in the ABA for Sandrigham. He was then hired by Brian Goorjian to play for the Sydney Kings and won two NBL championships in 2004 and 2005. But he had to wait until this season to reveal himself, posting 10.3 points and 4.1 rebounds and leading the league by shooting at 49% from three-point range. He has also played for three years with the Sydney City Comets in the ABA to continue to develop his game on summers.
He is an excellent long distance shooter and his size allows him to easily on smaller opponents.
