Career: Al Wakrah (Qatar-Division 1, 1998-2006).

Hammam Omer Ismail served as reserve power forward at the 2005 FIBA Asia Championship after making his debut with the National Team in 2003. He made his first official appearance at the 2003 Asian Championship but has yet to see a lot of playing time in major competitions. Last December, he took advantage of the absence of several key players to spend more time on the court at the West Asian Games. He averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds in 15 minutes and showed he could be very useful as a frontcourt reserve player at the 2006 FIBA World Championship.

In the Qatari league, Hammam Omer Ismail plays for the small team of Al Wakrah, outside Doha.
