Career: Marquette (USA-NCAA, 2000-03), Miami Heat (USA-NBA, 2003-06).

As was the case for Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony and Amaré Stoudemire, Dwyane Wade's first experience with Team U.S.A. was not what he had imagined. But Wade's defensive pressure on the ball made coach Larry Brown use the Miami Heat star much more than his other young colleagues. But Wade still says he wasn't his true self in Athens. Coming off a stellar playoffs run, Wade is red hot. Even against the tough Detroit defencse, "Flash" had his way, coming off screens and pick-and-rolls to slash to the rim. Then, came the NBA Finals against Dallas… The Mavs are leading 2-0 and are ahead by 13 with 6 minutes to go in the Game 3. Other bad news: D-Wade just picked-up his fifth foul. But he tells - it even looks like an order - Pat Riley to leave him on the court. Six minutes later, Miami wins (98-96) after an incredible 22-7 run. Wade has scored 12 points in the meantime, he has made more than his share of crucial plays and finishes the game with 43… In the Game 5, Dwayne will do even better by scoring the last 11 points of his team to put the Heat ahead 3-2. In the four wins of his team during these Finals, Wade averaged 39.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Doesn't that remind you of somebody? He is unstoppable with his spin move and can change gears while driving. With international help defenses causing him problems at the Olympics, expect Wade to take a different approach this time around. Before the NBA Finals, some were still questioning his outside shot and his ability to be a leader in clutch time. Is there still any questions now? Watch out.! Pierre, I think this misses some mention of his performance in game 3-6 of the NBA Finals
