Career: Michigan State (USA-NCAA, 1999-2003), Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-Division 1A, 2003-04), Livorno (Italiy-Lega, 2004-05), Joventut Badalona (Spain-ACB, 2005-06).
Born and raised in Michigan, Aloysius Anagonye logically committed to Michigan State in 1999 and won the National title in his freshman year. He also helped his team reach the Final Four again the following season. After graduating in 2003, he started his professional career in Slovenia with Olimpija Ljubljana and played in the Euroleague, averaging 6.7 points and 4.8 rebounds. Then he joined Livorno in the Italian Lega, accomplishing his best season in Europe, with 11.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. µ
This season, he was playing for Joventut Badalona and helped qualify the team for the next Euroleague. He averaged 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in the ACB. He is a very solid power forward with great defensive skills and he has developed a nice offensive game in the low post.
