Career: Primero de Agosto (Angola, 2003-06)
Olimpico Cipriano joined the National Team in 2004 when he was only 22 years old. He got his first taste of international competition during the 2004 Olympics in Athens. That wasn't the easiest of starts. But Olimpio took the offensive lead after being the best scorer during the 2005 FIBA Africa Championship in Algiers.
During the "Afrobasket", Cipriano was the first offensive option and his efficiency in the final (22 points, shooting 51%, plus 3 rebounds) led many observers to think he was one of the best forwards in Africa. Cipriano also has experience in winning, built with his club, Primero de Agosto, who have won two national titles and two African Club Championships.
