Aaron Bruce is the future of Australian basketball at point guard. He is a combo-guard able to play both guard spots. He plays aggressively at both ends of the court. He won the gold medal at the 2003 FIBA U19 World Championship alongside Andrew Bogut, Brad Newley and Aleksandar Maric.
Following this performance, he committed to Baylor and was the NCAA's top-scoring freshman in 2004-05 with 18.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. After only two seasons in the NCAA, he is already an NBA prospect and he could soon join the NBA.
This summer will be his first with the Boomers and will compete for a spot as a reserve point guard behind C.J. Bruton.
