Career: Duros (Venezuela-LNB, 2003-05), Guaiqueries (Venezuela-LPB, 2004-06).
Carlos Cedeño is a very promising point guard. He competed in the 2003 World Championship for Junior Men in Greece. At only 20, he was already considered one of the best domestic point guards in the LNB, averaging 13.8 points, 4.8 assists and 4.3 steals per game with Duros de Lara. Despite his young age, he is already a leader on the court. His size allows him good court vision. He likes to put the ball on the floor and penetrate to the basket.
Even though he still needs to improve his shot, there's no doubt he is the future of Venezuelan basketball at point guard. If he makes the team for the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan, it will be his first major competition with the seniors.
