Career: Caguas (Puerto-Rico-BSN, 2001-04), Washington Wizards (NBA, 2004-05), Roanoke Dazzle (USA-NBADL, 2005-06). Selected at the second round of the 2004 NBA Draft (#32), by the Washington Wizards.

Peter John Ramos revealed himself at the 2003 FIBA U19 World Championship in Greece. Only one year later, he was drafted by the Washington Wizards but has not reached the expectations yet. He has not seen significant playing time in the NBA and even finished the season in the Development League with the Roanoke Dazzle, averaging 14.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. Ramos is 2.20 meter tall and is expected to be the heir to legendary center José Ortiz. Even though he has spent two seasons in the NBA, he is still only 21, and it will take more time for him to develop his incredible potential.

He has already shown good offensive skills. His good hands allow him to shoot a high percentage from the field. He is quite mobile for a player of his size, but he still lacks explosiveness and aggressiveness to exist in the paint either in the NBA or on the international scene.
