Like Vidas Ginevicius, Tomas Delininkaitis is more of a combo-guard than a true playmaker. But his endless energy reserves, his brilliant offensive game, consisting of athletic drives to the basket and fearless outside shots, quickly turned him into an ideal spark for Lietuvos rytas Vilnius. His role changed a bit this season as Lietuvos rytas built a team that could compete in the Euroleague. Vilnius was the most impressive newcomer, making it to the Top 16.

On the Lithuanian front, they won the LKL finals with a sweep of perennial champion Zalgiris Kaunas. Although he improved his shot selection a little bit this year, Delininkaitis remains a nice bench player who can make a big play anytime but needs to be used cautiously.
