Career: Northern Arizona (USA-NCAA Div. 1, 1995-99), La Crosse Bobcats (USA-CBA, 2000-01), Sallen (Sweden-Basketligan, 2001-02), Auckland Stars (New Zealand-NBL, 2002-06), New Zealand Breakers (Australia-NBL, 2003), New Zealand Breakers (New Zealand-NBL, 2005).
Despite being born near New York, Casey Frank committed to the University of Northern Arizona. After being tested by different teams in Spain, France and Australia, he played a few games in the CBA in 2000 before spending the following season in Sweden. In 2002, he joined the Auckland Stars as an import player and has spent 4 seasons with the club, winning the NBL titles twice, in 2004 and 2005. He also played a few games with the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian NBL. He debuted for the Tall Blacks in 2005 but gained his New Zealand citizenship only in 2006 to win the silver medal at the Commonwealth Games.
He is a fan favourite in New Zealand because he is a very entertaining player who likes to use his vertical leap to put down very powerful dunks.
