Probably one of the most offensively talented players ever to come out of Panama, the athletic and muscular Hicks averaged 26.7 points per game during his last season with Texas A&M in the NCAA. He failed to make it to the NBA though and has spent the last five years in Italy. Hicks is coming off his best season there with Imola, as he averaged 23.4 points per game, making him the fifth best scorer in Italy's second division Lega Due.
During the season, he also showed an improved outside shot, making 40.3 percent of his threes. Hicks was Panama's top scorer during last year's FIBA Americas championship, scoring 31 points on 12 of 15 shooting during a pivotal game against Puerto Rico.
