It's time to turn the page they say in Belgrade. Well, if a new era of Serbian basketball is to start in Japan, Luka Bogdanovic better be part of it. Once hailed as the heir to Stojakovic, Luka has suffered from a prolonged break when his native club Radnicki Belgrade made him take a year off for signing for Red Star. After two lukewarm seasons, Luka finally moved to Partizan, where he asserted himself as a reliable offensive option at the small forward position. This late boomer hasn't given up his NBA dream, but he must prove himself first on the European level. A national team selection would be a good start. However, the competition will be stiff. But coach Sakota knows yet another long range bomber wouldn't hurt his team.
