Career: Union Colon (Argentina, 1999-2000), Reggio Calabria (Italy-Lega, 2000-02), Fortitudo Bologna (Italy-Lega, 2002-04), Detroit Pistons (USA-NBA, 2004-06)

Delfino's second season in the NBA wasn't very different from the first one. He didn't play much on a team that was winning a lot. Still, looking a bit closer shows reasons to stay positive. In the last two games of the regular season, when Detroit had already secured the league's best record, Delfino showed that he belonged, totalling 35 points and 13 boards. Then, he was included on the Pistons' playoffs roster, after being left out last year. He still didn't play a lot in the post-season, but he got a taste of it. He did a few good things defensively covering Dwyane Wade, if such a word is appropriate for a man no one could stop this spring.

After rumours started spreading that Delfino was going to ask for a trade this off-season, team president Joe Dumars met with him and told him that he considered the Argentinean guard as a part of the franchise's future. Dumars even confessed that he thought Delfino should have played more this season. So at 23, time still appears to be on Delfino's side.
