Career: Al Rayyan (Qatar-Division 1, 1997-2006).
Mohammed Saleem Abdullah debuted with the National Team at only 15. Now at age 24, he is one of the most experienced players on the team. He has competed in the last three Asian Championships and won two bronze medals in 2003 and 2005. In those same two years, he won the Asian Club Championship with Al Rayyan as well. Since he joined the national team, Abdullah has served as a reserve center, giving breaks to Hashim Zaidan Zaidan, one of his former teammates at Al Rayyan.
Unluckily, Abdullah missed the West Asian Games last December after suffering a broken sternum after a collision during practice. His young brother Malek is also a member of the National Team.
