Career: Lichterfelde (Germany-2.Bundesliga, 1999-2001), Penn State (USA-NCAA Div. 1, 2001-04), Panellinios (Greece-ESAKE, 2004), Artland Dragons (Germany-Bundesliga, 2004-05), Drac Inca (Spain-LEB, 2005-06).

Jan Jagla is one Germany's best young big men. Once considered the new Dirk Nowitzki, Jagla is far from that level, though he has progressed over the past two seasons. Jagla can play some on the wing offensively, but he lacks the quickness to play there on defence. He still has much to improve on his inside game. He was having a decent career in the NCAA Big Ten before declaring for the NBA Draft after his junior season and signing with an agent. He eventually withdrew his name, but was forced from returning to college. Jagla never really found his form in Greece or Germany last season. After working with the LA Clippers prior to the season, he moved to the Spanish LEB second division.

And he showed he can still play, averaging 11.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. He is a capable big man who can adequately spell Patrick Femerling or Dirk Nowitzki at times.
