Career: Toyota (Japan-JBL Superleague, 2004-06).
Daiji Yamada is an undersized power forward. He has played in the JBL Superleague for two seasons and helped the Toyota Alvark to claim the title this season after reaching the semi-finals in 2005. He was a member of the Under-21 National Team in 2001 before making his debut with the senior National Team two years later. In 2005, he competed both at the East Asian Games and the FIBA Asia Championship but only saw limited playing time.
Despite his lack of height and quickness, Daiji Yamada is a good rebounder and also a decent shooter from beyond the three-point arc.
