Career: Slovan Ljubljana (Slovenia-Division 1A, 2001-03), Treviso (Italy-Lega, 2003-05), Udine (Italy-Lega, 2005), Treviso (Italy-Lega, 2005-06). Selected in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft (#58), by the Toronto Raptors.

Another NBA big man with great size and fundamentals. Uros is a lefty who likes to bang inside or to pass from downlow to unguarded teammates. He can score in various ways and doesn't shy away from defensive duties.

He signed his first professional contract with Slovan in 2000 and remained there three years before moving to Benetton Treviso, like many talented Slovenians. Loaned to Snaidero Udine in January 2005, Slokar posted solid numbers which earned him a selection in the 2005 NBA draft. Uros was back to play for Treviso last season, which went pretty quiet for him. He could use some playing time to develop his widely-appreciated talent.
