Career: Independiente General Pico (Argentina, 1997-99), Tau Vitoria (Spain-ACB, 1999-2000), Manresa (Spain-LEB, 2000-01), Tau Vitoria (Spain-ACB, 2001-04), Chicago Bulls (USA-NBA, 2004-06)

"El Chapu" said it right a few days before the end of the NBA season: he can't wait to play in "the real world championship", meaning the NBA world champion is only a national champion. The former ACB Most Valuable Player, Nocioni is without a doubt the rising star for Argentina. Fearless, Nocioni has been able to repeat what Ginobili did a few years before him. He brought to the NBA a style, a combination which had never been seen before. A 2.01 m forward who can play three positions, just like Ginobili (except Nocioni plays between the 2 and the 4).

Nocioni is a nice shooter who can also drive but is also much more than that. Just like "El Manu", "El Chapu" has an unmatched flavour in his game. He has a Latin flamboyance which you can't understand unless you see it in action. He also exhibits an assertive style with the sole purpose of winning by any means necessary. Not a dirty player, Nocioni fears nothing, second guesses nothing and always puts his life on the line.
