Career: Kranj (Slovenia-Division 1A, 2000-01), Slovan Ljubljana (Slovenia-Division 1A, 2001-02), Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-Division 1A, 2002-06).
Saso is one of the rare quality players from Slovenia yet to find a niche with a foreign team. Nevertheless, his achievements to date are not less respectable. Saso started with Kranj in 2000 in the first Slovenian division. He then moved to Slovan for a year. His most recent stop has been Olimpija, with whom he has played in the Euroleague for four consecutive seasons. With the Slovenian powerhouses, Ozbolt has grabbed two Slovenian cups and three national championships. As for the national team, he played at last summer's EuroBasket in Belgrade, where Slovenia made history in qualifying for the first time for a FIBA World Championship.
Saso is a combo guard whose skills and personal qualities are much valued by National team coach Ales Pipan.
