A genuine star in Argentina, Gutierrez is unknown in Europe, where he only spent one anonymous season in Spain's second division LEB. Gutierrez' profile is quite similar to Andres Nocioni's. National team coach Sergio Hernandez recently said that Gutierrez symbolizes the right state of mind when it comes to the national team.
