Sven Schultze is a physical forward who can cause mismatch problems at both small and power forward positions. The 28-year-old is powerful enough to dominate wing players and quick enough to get by power forwards. A blue-collar and coachable player, Schultze can beat teams in various ways. He runs the break very well and can knock down the three-pointer from anywhere. He also positions himself very well to get blocks and has improved his passing over the years.

While he didn't put up impressive numbers, Schultze gained some valuable experience this season playing in the Italian Serie A and the Euroleauge with Armani Jeans Milano. Schultze's continued development gives Coach Dirk Bauermann another weapon to call upon when things are going tough for Dirk Nowitzki.
