Career: Toshiba (Japan-JBL Superleague, 1995-2006).
Takahiro Setsumasa is a 34-year-old point guard. He has played 10 seasons in the JBL Superleague and has been the league's best point guard of the past decade. He is a four-time All-Star and led the Toshiba Brave Thunders to the JBL Superleague title in 2000 and 2005. He already has some international experience as he played at the 1998 World Championship in Greece.
Setsumasa is not as quick as he used to be, but his good ball handling and his great passing skills still make him a sure bet at point guard. He is not a very good shooter and is more a playmaker, using his smartness and experience to find the right player at the right place. His knowledge of the game will be very valuable for his young team-mates.
