When people think of Nigerian basketball, most will think of Tunji Awojobi. He has played for the National Team since 1997, and he is the team's leader on and off the court.

His fighting spirit is an essential part of the team's good results. Awojobi has won three silver medals and one bronze medal at the African Championships. And he changed his game, playing more inside and becoming less of a shooter.
