Career: Mar del Plata (Argentina, 1994-97), Boca Juniors (Argentina, 1997-99), Estudiantes Olavarria (Argentina, 1999-2000), Seattle Supersonics (USA-NBA, 2000-01), Mar del Plata (Argentina, 2001-02), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2001-02), Boston Celtics (USA-NBA, 2002-03), Olympiakos Piraeus (Greece-ESAKE, 2003-04), Khimky Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2004-06).

Wolkowyski is not the shiniest member of the Argentinean team. But he knows how to set a screen, to roll, to bang and to rebound. He's one of the reasons why Ginobili and Nocioni find themselves open so many times when coming off a backdoor cut. In every sense of the word, Wolkowyski is a late bloomer. He has Polish ancestors and gained Polish citizenship a few years ago. He was already 27 when he first left Argentina to join the NBA Seattle Supersonics. He was 28 when he first played with a European team.

He travelled a lot, bringing his team-oriented game from Moscow to Seattle, visiting Boston and Athens along the way. All his experience helped him develop his game and his court sense. A poor shooter even late in his pro career, he now can shoot the three-pointer with some accuracy.
