Nikos Hatzivrettas is maybe the lowest profile player on the National Team. He is loved by everybody because of his character, but is also hated by opponents because of his skills and long range. When you first look at him on the court, you might not be really impressed or even afraid of Hatzivrettas. But before you finish your thoughts, Hatzivrettas may have taken the base line to dunk in your face.
Hatzivrettas is an explosive player, a good shooter, and a man who can destroy anybody when his confindence is high. When he has an "off-night" shooting, Nikos never gets carried away or frustrated and focuses instead on his defense. He's great on defense, with very strong arms and quick hands, which enable him to guard taller opponents.
