Career: Ferro Carril Oeste (Argentina, 1995-98), Gijon (Spain-LEB, 1998-2000), Tau Vitoria (Spain-ACB, 2000-06).

It's been yet another disappointing season for Luis Scola. Just like last year, his team Tau Vitoria went to the Euroleague Final Four and to the Spanish ACB Finals. But again, his club ended up without a title. A proven winner, Scola will probably have a tough time staying in Vitoria for next season. For the last two or three seasons, the Argentinean center has dominated Europe at his position and seems to need a new challenge. San Antonio, who first seemed more interested by his fellow countryman Fabricio Oberto is now making a move to get Tim Duncan a breather during games. At 26, Scola is still very young, even though he has been a regular contributor in Vitoria for six years.

In FIBA competitions, Scola is without a doubt one of the most lethal offensive weapons around. A man of few moves, he will find an opening or take advantage of his opponent almost instantly. Powerful but also skilled, he knows how to get rid of the ball when double teams come at him, which is more often than not.
