Paoletta has been given the nickname `The Shot’ after her clutch free-throw shooting display at the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship. She made a lot of crucial free throws against hosts Chile, allowing Argentina to force overtime and eventually win to claim a place in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Madrid. Paoletta is an all-round player who excels at both end of the court. Offensively, she can create her own shot and often penetrates into the paint. On defence, her quick hands make her one of the team leaders in steals. After playing for several years in Vélez, she just went back to “her first love” team - Vecinal de Munro - to play in the Metropolitan Tournament of Buenos Aires.
