Pascal Roller is a level-headed playmaker who makes the right decisions and finds the open man. The crafty guard uses his excellent ball handling skills to get into the lane and has an effective floating jumper. Roller, who led Frankfurt to the 2004 German title, filled in more than admirably for the injured Steffen Hamann at the 2005 EuroBasket. He punished teams who left him open with his above-average three-point range. Roller is not the best defender among Germany's point guards. But he knows his limitations and plays within them.

After receiving a new, healthy contract following his successful summer in Serbia & Montenegro, Roller suffered through a very difficult 2005-06 season. He went down twice during the year with leg injuries and missed a major portion of the season. But he proved his value late in the season as he helped save Frankfurt from relegation.
