Career: Sagesse (Lebanon-Division A, 1999-2004), Blue Stars (Lebanon-Division A, 2004-06).
Roy Samaha is a promising 21-year-old center. He started his career with Sagesse Beirut, winning four consecutive national titles, and was considered one of the best prospects in the country. He was called to the National Team and competed at the 2002 FIBA World Championship in Indianapolis. He joined the Blue Stars in 2004 and had a larger role and the opportunity to improve his game.
He averaged 9.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in 2004-05 but he stepped down this season with only 5.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. He is likely a reserve spot for the National Team as he is a strong and tall center with good rebounding skills.
