Luke Kendall spent two years at Metropolitan State, in Denver, leading one of the best NCAA second division basketball teams in scoring. Coming back to Australia in 2004, he joined the Sydney Kings and was a serious contender for the NBL Rookie of the Year award before injuring his knee.
This season, he was the third offensive option in Brian Goorjian’s team, averaging 12.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game and displaying a very complete game and a good shooting ability (36% from 3-point range). This summer will be his first with the Boomers.
