Career: Filippos Verias (Greece-3rd Division, 1995-97), Grindavik (Iceland-A League, 1997-98), Near East (Greece-ESAKE, 1998-99), Peristeri (Greece-ESAKE,
1999-2002), Panathinaikos (Greece-ESAKE, 2002-06).

Some people say that he is not a true center. The fact is that, as long as he was playing for Near East or Peristeri, he used to be a small or power forward. But for the few past seasons with Panathinaikos, Kostas was used by Zeljko Obradovic as a center, especially because of his height and long arms. Although, he is still an efficient shooter from middle and long range and he has also improved his post-up game. His long segment helps him to put up a nice little hook near the basket, but he needs to get stronger to fight with bigger opponents inside.

He will likely come off the bench behind Papadopoulos, giving the team his smart plays and a three point threat from a big guy.
