Career: Barcelona (Spain-ACB, 1997-2006). Selected in the second round of the 2002 NBA draft (#40), by the Washington Wizards.
A star to follow at the 2006 World Championships. Navarro arrives at Japan after a turnaround 2005-06 season, where he placed only behind Germany's Dirk Nowitzki in 2005 Eurobasket scoring average, achieved ACB MVP and Euroleague All-Team honours while becoming the leader of European powerhouse Winterthur FC Barcelona.
Navarro is a super scorer. His weak and innocent first look hide a killer instinct and loads of talent - all oriented to score. Superb long range shooting, he can nail the three from anywhere and in any situation. But due to his quickness, ball handling and dribbling abilities, he will also put the ball on the floor to drive and score one of his "Bombas", a very particular floating lay-up that has given him the nickname of "La bomba" (the bomb).
