Christian Dalmau is a very experienced player. He started playing in the BSN league in 1992, at the early age of 17. He has spent 13 seasons in the domestic league and has been considered the best guard of the league for nearly a decade. In 2004, he joined Hapoel Galil Elyon in Israel and proved he could play in Europe, averaging 20.4 points and 3.8 assists per game in the FIBA Europe League. This season, he posted 10.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists with Prokom Trefl Sopot in the Euroleague and won the Polish title. Dalmau competed in the last FIBA World Championship and Olympic Games.
Both his experience and versatility will be valuable to the national team. Dalmau can play at both guard positions. He is very strong and hard to stop when he decides to go to the basket.
