Ender Arslan changes directions so easily that his crossover can make a brick wall fall flat on its back. Just ask Dwyane Wade. Ender's crossover against Wade in an exhibition game last year made the Miami Heat guard fall right back on his hip. Arslan can drive by almost anybody. He was the revelation of the Turkish National Team at EuroBasket 2003 and followed that performance with a bright club season. But Arslan just couldn't take the next step towards stardom, although he is still deadly as a slasher.
And his basketball wits, combined with his quick feet, make him a very good defender off the ball. But he still is weak defending the ball, and, most importantly, he still drifts away in games. It seems Ender struggles to remain focused during games. He performs at a great level for a while. But then, he loses his head and makes overzealous plays. Arslan also loses his demeanor at times, and that is never a good thing for a floor general. In addition, his outside shot is still average.
