LAS VEGAS (2007 FIBA Americas Championship) - Behind a game-high 27 points from Anthony Pedroza, Mexico snapped a six game losing streak and defeated Venezuela 101-91 on Wednesday in Second Round action of the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship.
Mexico trailed 50-46 at halftime, but outscored Venezuela 31-15 in the third quarter and led by as many as 21 in the final stanza.
Venezuela has now lost two straight games.
