BEIJING (CBA) - Guangdong maintained their place at the top of the CBA after an excellent 127-91 win over third-placed Jiangsu.
Jason Dixon poured in 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Guangdong reaffirmed their strength at the top and moved their record to 12-2.
Xinjiang are level with Guangdong with a 12-2 record and maintained their challenge with a 85-71 win at Zhejiang Wanma.
Aaron Magee did the damage for Xinjiang, scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, while Soumaila Samake's 21 points were not enough for Zhejiang.
The individual performance of the round came from Bayi's Wang Zhizhi who scored a mammoth 46 points as they beat Yunnan 117-108 and moved up to fourth with a 9-5 record.
Wang Bo and Dejuan Tate scored 28 points apiece, but it wasn't enough for Jilin, who were edged out 100-99 by Beijing in a thrilling game.
Bottom side Shanghai gained only their second win of the season after 33 points from Jerod Ward helped them win 117-107 at Fujian.
Elsewhere, Zhejiang Guangsha defeated Shanxi Dongsheng 111-103, Dongguan edged Shandong 132-124 and Liaoning ran out 112-91 winners at Shanxi Zhongyu.
