CORRIENTES (Liga Sudamericana) - Regatas Corrientes and Flamengo swept their quarterfinals series to qualify into the semifinals of Ligfa Sudamericana after beating Deportivo Tachira and Sol de America, respectively.

Regatas crushed Deportivo Tachira 93-64 as Chuckie Robinson led with 19 points, Juan Rivera and Ramzee Stanton netted 14 each. In a losing effort Derwing Ramírez scored 18 points.

Flamengo also dominated Sol de America 108-76 as Marcelinho Machado scored 13 points, grabbed 11 boards and dished out 8 assists. The best scorer was Duda with 29 while Helio scored 18.

The series between Cocodrilos de Caracas and Universo/BRB continues today in Venezuela. Universo has a 1-0 series advantage.
