TIANJIN (FIBA Asia Championship) - Yang Donggeun’s drive in success in the dying moments helped Korea pip Philippines 82-80 in the seventh place play-off on Sunday.

Philippines had taken a 26-19 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Korea fought back.

The game went on even keel for the remainder before Yang sank the decisive basket.

Oh Sekeun led the scoring for the game with a record-high 31 points.

Oh who went 11/18 on the field and 9/11 from the foul-line, also collected a game-high 10 rebounds.

Kim Joo Sung contributed 11 points.

Cyrus Baguio was the highest scorer for Philippines with 17 points, in a 75% field record, including a 1/3 in three-pointers.

Gunther Thoss chipped in with 15.
