DETROIT (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Turkey center Mehmet Okur and Team USA guard Deron Williams each scored 18 points for the Utah Jazz in their 115-104 triumph at Detroit on Wednesday night.
Okur also had five rebounds, three assists and two blocks while Williams handed out 12 assists.
Utah's other leading international stars made solid contributions as the team improved to 44-22.
Russia's Andrei Kirilenko had 11 points, five boards, two assists, a steal and a block while Team USA's Carlos Boozer finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds and three assists.
All of the players figure prominently in their country's plans for the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
Here's a look at how some of the other players that could be headed to Turkey later this year were in action.
Russia
- Anton Ponkrashov - The CSKA Moscow guard finished with nine points and three rebounds in an 84-71 Euroleague victory over Zalgiris Kaunas.
Lithuania
- Mantas Kalnietis - The Lithuania guard finished had 22 points for Zalgiris in their defeat to CSKA Moscow.
- Tadas Klimavicius - The Lithuania national team hopeful of Zalgiris had seven rebounds to go with his four points in the loss to CSKA.
Turkey
- Hedo Turkoglu - The Toronto forward had seven rebounds to go with his six points in the Raptors' 113-90 defeat at Sacramento.
Slovenia
- Beno Udrih - The Sacramento point guard led the Kings with 24 points, eight assists and four rebounds in the win over Toronto.
Team USA
- Dwyane Wade - The Miami guard scored 27 points, which included 15 makes on his 17 free-throw attempts, and also dished out eight assists and hauled in six boards in Miami's 108-97 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
- Rudy Gay - The Team USA hopeful had 28 points and eight rebounds in Memphis Grizzlies' 111-91 upset of the Celtics in Boston.
- Jason Kidd - The Dallas playmaker poured in 20 points and dished out nine assists while also coming up with four steals as the Mavs defeated New Jersey 96-87 for their 13th straight victory.
- Chauncey Billups - The Denver Nuggets point guard scored 25 points in a 110-102 triumph at Minnesota.
- Carmelo Anthony - The Team USA veteran had 19 points, six rebounds, five assists, five steals and a block in the victory at Minnesota.
- Al Jefferson - The Minnesota center who was named in the USA squad for 2010-2012, had 17 points and 10 rebounds in the loss to Denver.
- Kevin Durant - A candidate to win the NBA's MVP award, Team USA star Durant had 29 points and four rebounds for Oklahoma City in their 98-83 victory over New Orleans.
Serbia
- Darko Milicic - The Minnesota center started and played 27 minutes and had 12 rebounds to go with his six points in the loss to Denver.
- Nenad Krstic - The Serbia captain had 10 points and six rebounds for Oklahoma City in their victory over New Orleans.
Spain
- Marc Gasol - The Grizzlies center had just seven points but also grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out five assists for Memphis in their win at Boston.
France
- Rodrigue Beaubois - The Mavericks' guard played 26 minutes off the bench and fouled out after scoring 16 points.
- Johan Petro - France's forgotten center Johan Petro started and played 13 minutes, scoring two points, grabbing four rebounds and swatting two shots for the Nuggets in their victory over the Timberwolves.
Germany
- Dirk Nowitzki - The Mavericks' veteran finished with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists in their victory over visiting New Jersey.
- Chris Kaman - The Clippers center scored 16 points and hauled in five rebounds in the defeat to Miami.
Argentina
- Manu Ginobili - The San Antonio guard is fully fit and back to his best. He scored a game-high 28 points for the Spurs in their 97-87 victory at New York.
Brazil
- Nene - The Denver Nuggets center scored 17 points and brought down nine rebounds in his team's win over Minnesota.
