ATHENS (2010 FIBA World Championship) – Canada big man Levon Kendall may go under the knife after injuring his left ankle in Maroussi’s Euroleague game against Caja Laboral last week.

The 25-year-old forward tore ligaments and is likely to be out of action for several months.

Kendall played for Canada at the FIBA Americas Championship this year, averaging 5.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest.

The Canadians reached the Semi-Finals in Puerto Rico to clinch a place at the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey.
