House of Basketball

IBF is building and managing FIBA‘s new headquarters, the “House of Basketball“ in the Swiss village of Mies , a 10-minute drive from Geneva international airport. The current status of the construction works can be viewed on a webcam.

It will house an underground parking and storage, a complete floor for FIBA‘s administrative staff, a conference centre, an exhibition hall including the FIBA Hall of Fame and a library.

The building is shape like a hand, one of the key elements of FIBA‘s visual identity. It also incorporates a steel structure reminiscent of the woven basketball net.

The building is situated on a 8‘500 sqm plot of land on the shores of Lake Geneva with a view of the lake and the alps.
