Career: .Trutnov (Czech Republic-ZBL, 1999-2004), Gambrinus Brno (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2004-2006), USK PRAHA (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2006-2008).
Jan Bobrovsky did not have too much to smile about last summer at the EuroBasket Women in Chieti following the team’s fifth-place finish, but the emergence of Hartigova did put a grin on his face. The 24-year-old has been with the national team without interruption since 2001 and had rarely gotten off the bench but in Italy, she played much more. Why the transformation? Hartigova had left Brno for rivals Praha and not only received more playing time but gained confidence, especially on offence. A player with a strong body and a soft shooting touch, Hartigova could be an important player. In the EuroLeague this season, her stats and minutes improved (4.8 ppg and 3.8rpg in 18mins per game).
