Today's Games: Saturday 13 August

RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympic Games) - Here are the three games to look forward to on Day 8 of the Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament at the Deodoro Youth Arena in Rio de Janeiro.

Australia v Belarus

The last time these two teams square off, at the 2014 FIBA Women's World Championship, Australia proved too strong for the European side, winning 87-45. With the Opals having officially clinched top honours in Group A and Belarus not in contention for a place in the Quarter-Finals, it is all about seeing how  star players like Lindsey Harding and Yelena Leuchanka of Belarus as well as Australia's Penny Taylor and Liz Cambage close their Group Phase campaigns.

Turkey v Brazil

If the Rio Olympics hosts were to be judged on the basis of their performances through the first three quarters of their games, then they would probably have been in the race for a Quarter-Finals spot. But that is not the case and Brazil will enter this game looking to say goodbye to their tireless fans with a win. Turkey are eyeing a third-place finish in the group and and must beat Brazil in order to accomplish that goal.

Japan v France

The Asian champions have become a sensation in Rio and remain one of the teams to watch out for, especially after pushing Australia to the limit, and outplaying Brazil and Belarus earlier in the competition. This encounter is a "must-see' as the winners will finish second in the Group behind Australia.
