USA with another easy win, Greece beat Serbia, Canada down Italy

HERAKLION (2015 FIBA U19 World Championship) - Reigning champions United States cruised to another victory at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship while Greece and Canada finished the group stage in first place after knocking off a previously undefeated teams.

Harry Giles collected a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds as the USA eased past Egypt92-50, to win Group A with a perfect 3-0 record. The Americans will next take on Argentina in the Round of 16.

Egypt finished third in the group and face Spain in the Round of 16.

The other Group A game saw Croatia give up just 12 points in the second half of an 86-36 blowout of Iran. Croatia secured second place with a 2-1 record and will battle China in the Round of 16.

Iran dropped to 0-3 for last place in the group and will meet Turkey in the knockout stage.

Turkey finished the game on an 11-0 run to grab a 62-51 victory over China and finish atop Group B with a 3-0 record.

Spain got 18 points from Marc Garcia in a 75-51 win over Argentina.

Both groups C and D saw match-ups of two undefeated teams with Canada and Greece prevailing respectively.

Canada pulled away in the second half for a convincing 78-54 victory over Italy with Justin Jackson returning to the line-up after missing the Tunisia game with a tender ankle and shining with 16 points and seven rebounds.

Canada topped Group C with a 3-0 record and will face off with Korea in the Round of 16.

Italy took second place in the group and next take on Dominican Republic.

Australia took third place in Group C by winning their first game of the tournament, a 93-64 defeat of Tunisia thanks to 18 points, six rebounds and three assists from Jack White.

Australia's Round of 16 opponent will be Serbia, while Tunisia will square off against hosts Greece.

The Greeks grabbed first place in Group D thanks to a 69-60 victory over Serbia thanks to 10 points, six rebounds and five blocks from Georgios Papagiannis while Tyler Dorsey scored all 10 of his points in the fourth quarter.

Dominican Republic picked up their first victory of the tournament by beating Korea, 102-89, as Yerri Flores and Andres Feliz both had 19 points.
